To Life is a comedic, heartwarming short film about three friends getting the chance to talk to their recently deceased friend one last time after her funeral. Christie, always the life of the party, first appeared before her three friends individually while they were in different rooms of the house, giving each of them life advice and well wishes. Even in death, the woman’s happy-go-lucky energy and natural moxie shine through the screen. With each woman’s moment to talk to their friend, we learn more about their lives, interests, and passions. As the trio of friends get back together to celebrate the life of their beloved friend, she makes an appearance one more time to join them for a toast to herself. The loving dynamic of this friend group is portrayed as they make jokes with each other and reminisce on the memories of their chaotic but good-natured friend, Christie.
